Rearward facing jets propel the Draincleaning hose up the line.
As the hose is then withdrawn these rear facing jets scour the
line and backflush all debris to the manhole for extraction.

Grout is pumped through failed joints/cracks and into the
surrounding soil where it gells with the soil to form a waterproof
mass around the outside of the pipe, thereby eliminating the
ground water infiltration.
If the structural integrity of the pipe, manhole or lateral
service is sound, then joint sealing with chemical grout is
the most efficient reliable and economical choice.

Holes are drilled through the wall
of a leaking manhole.
A two part chemical sealant can then be injected through these
holes into the surrounding ground to form a wall of flexible
waterproof mass around the outside of the manhole. |
